The Kansas City Current are shoring up their roster before this weekend’s season opener. The Current signed three of their draft picks, among them former Grain Valley High School star Rylan Childers. Childers played college soccer at the University of Kansas. Kansas City also signed two of their second round draft picks, Gabrielle Robinson and Jordan Silkowitz. The Current will kickoff the 2023 season on the road in North Carolina. They’ll play on Saturday. A week from Saturday, the Current play their first home game of the season, welcoming the Portland Thorns to Kansas City.
