Pregnant Kaley Cuoco shares snap of growing bump and reveals her mother's frustration over baby name

On Sunday, three-time Emmy nominee Kaley Cuoco donned a nude-colored tank dress and shared a mirror selfie showcasing her bourgeoning baby bump for her captive 7.7M Instagram followers.

And in the expecting 37-year-old's effort to keep her unborn daughter's baby name secret, she has managed to frustrate her mother Layne Ann Cuoco.

The grandmother-to-be bought Kaley a swaddle blanket emblazoned with the pattern 'Whats her name' and she wrote via Instastory: 'When no one knows her name, so your mom goes to these lengths LOL!'

Cuoco and her boyfriend - Outer Range star Tom Pelphrey - will soon welcome their first child after a whirlwind 11-month romance that began at the Manhattan premiere of Netflix's final season of Ozark on April 21.

Here's hoping the SoCal native's relationship with the 40-year-old New Jersey native lasts longer than her 21-month marriage to pro tennis player Ryan Sweeting and three-year marriage to equestrian Karl Cook.

First-time motherhood hasn't slowed Kaley down either as she recently wrapped her role as Ava Bartlett opposite Chris Messina in Craig Rosenberg and Jason Bateman's comedy thriller series Based on a True Story for Peacock.

'When I signed on for [it] I was obviously not pregnant and it was written very differently,' Cuoco told ET last month.

'We're getting started to shoot, we're talking literally a month or two out, I met with the producers and I was like, "Um, what do you think about writing this character pregnant?" Crazily enough, they wrote it in. It ended up being such an interesting part of this show. The show is so funny and so wacky and so strange.'

The Priceline brand ambassador continued: 'I'm just super grateful to this group who wrote this in very last minute. I love that this character has been written in such a way that we didn't change a lot because she was pregnant. I mean that in a way of she's still wearing crop tops, she goes to the pool, there's a lot of, like, sex and there's all this crazy stuff.

'We didn't change anything because she's pregnant. We felt like she's still the same person and nothing should change because you're pregnant. I actually feel good. I've been doing this for so long, I think it's going to be interesting for people to see me play this new phase in life and just being very open about it.'

Kaley has also been hard at work providing her voiceover for the upcoming fourth season of Paul Dini and Bruce Timm's adult animated series Harley Quinn on HBO Max.

Cuoco executive produces and voices the titular character, who has the distinction of being one of the few out and proud bisexual characters from DC Comics.
