Grigor Dimitrov reaches Stockholm tennis tournament final

No. 1 seeded Grigor Dimitrov has qualified for the final of the ATP 250 tennis tournament in Stockholm. The Bulgarian tennis player made it to the final after a win versus Italian Fabio Fognini (6:3, 7:6 (2).

The match took less than 90 minutes. Dimitrov is going to play in the final of this tournament for the third time in his career. Back in 2013 he won the Stockholm final.

At this year’s final the world’s No. 8 Dimtrov is to face the winner in the match between Juan Martin del Potro and Fernando Verdasco. The Bulgarian is after a second title in Stockholm, a fourth one for the season and an eighth on in his career.

This season Dimitrov has scored 43 wins from the total of 60 matches. This he has ranked fifth in the 2017 rankings and will for the first time play at the ATP season-ending event for the best male singles players and doubles during the 2017 AYTP World Tour.
