Agreement signed on granting $ 100 mln to Kyrgyzstan by Kazakhstan

Cholpon-Ata, Aug.22, 2017 /Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan signed a detailed agreement on the provision of grant assistance by the Kazakh side in the amount of $ 100 million.

A detailed agreement on allocation of grant funds to the Kyrgyz side in the amount of $ 100 million was signed today during the 4th Issyk-Kul 2017 Economic Forum between the governments of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

This agreement includes details on the realization of the list of activities of the technical assistance prepared for the development of economic integration and the targeted use of financial assistance provided by the Kazakh side.

"On December 26, 2016, the agreement was signed to provide technical assistance by the Kazakh side in the amount of $ 100 million for the implementation of the roadmap for accession of Kyrgyzstan to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and we have a number of events that the Kazakh side agreed to finance so that our economy can adapt to new сonditions of the economy," said Deputy Minister of Economy Almaz Sazbakov.

The agreement was signed by Kazakhstan's Finance Minister Kanat Baedilov and Deputy of Economy Minister of Kyrgyzstan Almaz Sazbakov.
